Dr Sudhir Ruparelia is arguably Uganda’s richest man and one of East Africa’s wealthiest businessmen. His Ruparelia Group, comprising over 28 companies, has tentacles in real estate, financial services, education services, hospitality, horticulture, media/broadcasting and most recently, labour externalization.

But he wasn’t born rich- he is your basic started-from-the-bottom-now-we-are-here businessman. From being a 17-year-old student, he suddenly found himself on London streets looking for a job, after President Idi Amin had expelled Ugandans of Asian origin in 1972. After failing to join the UK’s Royal Armed Force, he did several jobs, including being a supermarket attendant and a cab driver as he juggled his studies until he finished High School.

In 1985, he returned to Uganda armed with about $25,000 in savings and since then, he has never looked back. Through a series of greenfield investments, acquisitions, joint ventures and expansions he, with the support of family, has grown the Ruparelia Group into a well over USD1.2 billion conglomerate and still growing.

“When President Idi Amin chased Asians away in 1972, I left for the UK. I did various casual jobs in factories, supermarkets, butcheries and many other odd jobs while studying in the evening until I finished my A’level. I made some good money and bought my first house in the UK as early as 1975. I continued working and living there until 1985 when I returned to Uganda.” said Sudhir in an interview.

In 1985 after the overthrow of the then ineffective government of the time by the National Resistance Army (Movement), Uganda became politically stable and in the same year, Sudhir returned to his dream home and started from scratch. He started as a shopkeeper who imported alcohol and wines from Kenya and sold them in Uganda which became his first lucrative business until he started a forex bureau, Crane Forex Bureau which he later transformed into Crane Bank by 1995. After many years of patience and trustworthiness, Sudhir succeeded in building the mega-million-dollar empire we see today.

The Ruparelia Group of Companies, commonly known as Ruparelia Group, runs a chain of heavy investments in Real Estate, Insurance, Banking, Education, Broadcasting, Hotels and Resorts, Floriculture and many other ventures.

The most impressive investments of the Ruparelia Group are in the real estate, tourism and hospitality sectors which have been business hubs and tourist hangout places with world-standard services.

These hotels and resorts include; Speke Apartments, Speke Resort and Conference Center, Munyonyo Common Wealth Resort, Kabira Country Club, Dolphin Suites, Tourist Hotel and Forest Cottages and Speke at Bujagali Falls.

While officiating at the commemoration of World Tourism Day in Kampala, the Uganda Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Right Honorable Thomas Tayebwa applauded Sudhir for investing in Uganda, especially the Tourism and Hospitality sector.

“I know people who have been calling Dr Sudhir to go and develop their countries. I know many, some of them were asking me, but this Sudhir man what did you give him as Uganda? The man has a lot of money and we would like him to come and invest in our areas,” he revealed.

“So chairman, I want to thank you and your team of investors who have looked at Uganda as your number one destination for investment,” Tayebwa said. He pledged the government’s support to investors in Uganda.

Other investments under Ruparelia Group include; Premier Recruiting Limited, Goldstar Insurance Company, Premier Roses Limited, Meera Investments Limited, Sanyu FM and many other investments in real estate, construction, banking and education.

“This is how I define success. My success is when I see that I started a project, I created employment for people and at the same time, the people who are using my establishments are also making money from it. That is my success,” says Sudhir.

His business empire employs tens of thousands of Ugandans, in a country where jobs are extremely scarce and young people struggle to learn to live.

The Ruparelia Foundation is currently credited for its social responsibility as it has embarked on giving back to the community through outreaches to orphanages, sponsoring sports activities, and health camps. The Ruparelia Foundation gives back to the community at the end of every year and calls for joint action from the public. Through its various stakeholders, the foundation has been able to carry out more than 600 hundred interventions in supporting communities in different aspects deemed necessary based on community needs.

Victoria University, which is one of the major investments in Uganda’s education sector owned by Sudhir, provides hundreds of scholarships to students every year.

According to a Forbes list released in January 2021, Sudhir had an estimated net worth of $1.2 billion making him the wealthiest Uganda and the entire of East Africa. His boundless courage and motivation of building Uganda make him an accomplished business magnate whose investment potential powers Uganda’s economy.

Hotels in Turkey are set to be forced to close earlier than usual this year as occupancy rates plummet due to domestic tourists flocking to Greece, an industry insider has revealed.

Hamit Kuk, a leading advisor for the Association of Turkish Travel Agencies, explained that some of the cheaper accommodation in holiday hotspots were only currently half-full despite it being peak season.

“The average room occupancy rate in hotels in Bodrum, Marmaris, Fethiye and Antalya is currently around 80%,” he told the Express.

“There are no empty hotels or resorts as [some reports have suggested but] room occupancy rates were 100% in previous years.

“This year, since room occupancy rates dropped by 15 to 20% on average, the public has developed such a perception [that entire hotels are empty], but these are not true.

“[However these] are the averages for the region. Some hotels are 100% full, [others] are 50-60% full. Hotels with low occupancy rates will close early.

“[I expect] two and three-star hotels to close in October, four-star hotels to close in mid-October and five-star hotels to remain open until the end of October. [This is because] their occupancy is better and [they can continue] until the end of the season.”

Bodrum is an area of Turkey beloved by British holidaymakers (Image: Getty)

Kuk explained that the dates when hotels choose to shut their doors will depend on the area and he is expecting different parts of the country to stay open to tourists for different lengths of time.

“Some hotels in Bodrum and Marmaris may close in mid-October. But other hotels seem to stay open until the end of October. The situation is better in Antalya, many hotels will stay open until November 15,” he added.

The leading tourist industry advisor blamed inflation on the exodus of Turkish tourists to Greece, which changed its visa rules to make it easier for holidaymakers from its neighbour to travel for a break.

“The increasing costs worldwide after the pandemic caused inflation to rise,” Kuk added.

“Increasing inflation reduced the purchasing power of consumers. Increasing costs and high inflation were much higher in our country.

“The inflation rate exceeding 100% in Turkey caused exorbitant price increases. Hotel accommodation prices have also increased here. But this is a temporary situation, prices will return to normal when inflation in Turkey decreases.

“It is natural that Turkish tourists prefer the cheaper Greek islands this year. But I think that when the economy in Turkey recovers, they will vacation on the most beautiful coasts of Turkey again next year.”

Kuk is confident Turkish tourists will return once the economic conditions improve (Image: Getty)

According to Kuk, Brits have not been put off from holidaying in Turkey by the inflation thanks to the continued strength of the Pound against the Lira.

“Although accommodation prices in Turkey increased this year, this increase did not affect British tourists much,” he said.

“One of the most important reasons for this is the strong exchange rate of the Pound against the Turkish Lira. Despite everything, Turkey is still an attractive country for the British. We still have many advantages in terms of competition with other countries.

“For example, the prices here are a little more expensive than last year, but the service quality is still the same. Turkish hospitality is better than other destinations. Holidaying in Turkey is still very attractive for the British.”

The bitcoin price has dropped back away from the closely-watched $70,000 per bitcoin level despite billionaire investor Mark Cuban issuing a “crazy” bitcoin price prediction.

Now, after Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen admitted her fears over the future of the U.S. dollar, Tesla billionaire Elon Musk has warned the U.S. dollar is heading for “destruction” and the spiralling $35 trillion debt pile could “bankrupt” the U.S.—something some analysts think could push the bitcoin price higher.

“Where are we with dollar value destruction, you might ask,” Musk posted to X alongside an image suggesting the U.S. is on the cusp of hyperinflation. “America is going bankrupt [by the way],” Musk added, replying to the cofounder of the meme-based bitcoin rival Dogecoin who highlighted the soaring cost of interest payments on U.S. debt.

U.S. debt interest payments are forecast to hit $870 billion this year, according to a recent analysis by the Congressional Budget Office, after runaway inflation pushed the Federal Reserve to hike interest rates at a never-before-seen clip in the aftermath of huge Covid-era spending and money-printing.

Earlier this year, Bank of America analysts warned the U.S. debt load is about to ramp up to add $1 trillion every 100 days—fueling a Bitcoin price surge.

“The U.S. national debt is rising by $1 trillion every 100 days,” Michael Hartnett, chief strategist of Bank of America, wrote in a note to clients seen by CNBC, adding it’s “little wonder ‘debt debasement’ trades [such as gold and bitcoin are] closing in on all-time highs.

Hartnett predicted the newly created spot bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) that have taken Wall Street by storm over the last few months are on course for a “blowout year,” in part because of the collapse of the U.S. dollar.

This week, Musk, who’s thrown his weight behind Trump in the aftermath of the failed assassination attempt on the former president, fanned wild speculation that Trump could be about to make a game-changing Bitcoin announcement.

“Bitcoin is now a proxy for a Trump victory,” Sean McNulty, director of trading at Arbelos Markets, told Bloomberg, citing expectations among traders that Trump would herald a far friendlier regulatory and political backdrop than the Biden administration.

The Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is a suite of cloud computing services offered by Google. All GCP data centers are connected through Google’s backbone network – one of the biggest and fastest in the world.

RunCloud is a cloud server management tool that allows you to maintain full control of your server, and host multiple WordPress, WooCommerce, Laravel, and PHP applications with fast and easy configuration. With RunCloud, you don’t need to be a Linux expert to host your website on Google Cloud Platform servers.

In this tutorial, we will show you how to set up a Google Cloud server to host your website using RunCloud.

Step 1. Create a Firewall Rule to Allow Incoming Traffic

Your server needs to allow incoming TCP connections on ports 80 and 443 to server traffic from the internet. RunCloud also requires TCP port 34210 to communicate with the server. We will make a firewall rule to allow incoming traffic on all these ports.

Go to the “VPC network” > “Firewall” menu and click on “Create Firewall Rule”.

Enter the following details, and click “Create Rule” to create a firewall rule:

Name: runcloud-firewall-rule
Description: Required by RunCloud to function properly.
Network: default
Priority: 1000
Direction of traffic: Ingress
Action on match: allow
Targets: Specified target tags
Tag: runcloud-server
Source filter: IP ranges
Source IP ranges: 0.0.0.0/0
Protocols and ports: Specified protocols and ports then select TCP and enter “80,443,34210”

Step 2. Reserve a Static IP Address (Optional)

By default, Google Cloud instances are assigned an ephemeral external IP address. This means a new ephemeral IP address will be assigned to your instance whenever it is stopped and started again.

If an instance is stopped, any ephemeral external IP addresses assigned to the instance are released back into the general Compute Engine pool, and become available for use by other projects, (GCP Documentation).

If the IP address of the cloud instance changes, you will need to manually update it in your RunCloud Dashboard. It is highly recommended to use a static IP address for your server. This static IP is dedicated to you and will not be changed when you stop and restart the server, however you will incur additional charges for a static IP.

Go to the “Reserve Static IP” option and enter the following details:

Name: runcloud-server-ip
Description: Static IP address reserved for RunCloud instance.
IP version: IPv4
Type: Regional
Region: Select your region, if you’re unsure then find out the region most suitable for you
Attached to: None

Step 3. Create A Google Cloud Compute Engine Instance

RunCloud needs a fresh Ubuntu server to function properly, and will not work on an existing production server. Go to the “VM Instances” tab in the “Compute Engine” menu, and click on “CREATE INSTANCE”.

Select Name and Region

Give your instance a name, and select the region picked in step 2. We recommend you use a region and zone that is nearest to your target users/visitors. The closer your server location is to your users, the less latency they will experience. This setting is permanent and cannot be changed later.

Select Machine Type

Under the “Machine configuration” option, select one of the predefined GCP machine types for your instance. Each machine type gives you a certain number of vCPUs (virtual Central Processing Unit), and a fixed amount of memory. We recommend starting with the “e2-small” machine type, and scale up to match your workload at a later stage.

Select Boot Disk and OS

Next, you need to attach an Ubuntu LTS boot disk to your instance. RunCloud supports Ubuntu 18.04, 20.04, 22.04 LTS 64 bit at the moment. Click the “Change” button under Boot disk, then select “Ubuntu 22.04 LTS Minimal” for x86/64 architecture.

For the “Boot disk type” option, select “Balanced persistent disk”. Alternatively, you can choose “SSD persistent disk” for better performance, or “Standard persistent disk” to reduce the storage costs. The boot disk size is customizable from 10 GB to 65,536 G

Apply A Custom Firewall Rule

We will leave both “Allow HTTP traffic” and “Allow HTTPS traffic” unchecked under the Firewall option because we have already created a custom firewall rule to allow internet traffic. Click on the “Advanced Options” to reveal advanced settings.

Look for “Network tags” under the Networking section and enter the “runcloud-server” tag created in step 1.

Assign the Static IP

Now we will assign the static IP reserved in step 2. If you are not using a static IP, you can skip this step.

Scroll down to “Network Interfaces” and edit the default interface settings. Leave all the settings to default, and scroll down to the “External IPv4 addresses” option. Change this from “Ephemeral” to “runcloud-server-ip”:

Click the “Create” button to start your Google Cloud server.

Step 4. Connect Google Cloud VM To RunCloud

Connect Your Server

Begin by logging in to the RunCloud dashboard, and clicking the “Connect a new server” button.

Next, select “Google Cloud Platform” from the Server Provider list. Enter the name and external IP address of your server, then click “Continue”.

Install RunCloud Agent

On the next screen, choose “Manual Installation”, and you will see the script that you have to run on your Google Cloud instance.

Go to “VM instances” on your Google Cloud dashboard, and click “SSH” next to the instance that you just created. This will launch a web browser-based terminal to log in to your server.

We need to run the RunCloud installer script command as a “root” user. Run the “sudo su” command to start a “root” shell, and then paste and run the RunCloud installer script command. This should only take a few minutes to complete.

Once it’s completed, you will see the MySQL root password for your database management, and the “runcloud” system user password. Please save this information securely in a password manager.

If successful, data about your server will appear in your RunCloud dashboard, and you will have successfully set up your Google Cloud server with RunCloud.

Video Tutorial – Setup Google Cloud Server With RunCloud

You can watch this short video tutorial to show you all steps that we have explained above in less than 3 minutes.

Final Thoughts

You can use RunCloud with Google Cloud to simplify server management experience. RunCloud agent needs to be installed on a Ubuntu LTS release and requires TCP port 80, 443, and 34210 to function properly. After a successful install, you can manage the server and monitor its performance metrics from the RunCloud dashboard.

Nigerian Afrobeat musician, entrepreneur, and record producer David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has intimated that he might be quitting the entertainment scenes.

The father of 6 highlighted that once he releases his latest project, an album that he’s been working on, then that is it from him.

Davido through his socials explained that he had come to this decision due to some of his Nigerian counterparts in the industry occasionally taking jabs at him, picking unnecessary fights with him and so much more all because he was dominating the scene.

Taking to his X account, the ‘Unavailable’ crooner put up a post addressing his haters as well as seemingly promising to give them the “peace” they have for so long.

“Y’all niggas want me out of the game that bad? Oya after the next album I no do again. So una fit get peace,” Davido’s post read.

His post was in reaction to some doctored posts about him that were making rounds on social media showcasing the Grammy nominee donning female underwear.

This is not the first time the father of 6 has complained about people in the industry being uncomfortable because of him being around. If you recall, quite recently, the ‘IF’ hitmaker opined that since he came into the industry, most of his colleagues haven’t experienced peace of mind.

Just recently, the star was involved in a heated online brawl with his colleague, Ayodeji Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid aka Starboy. The two exchanged words as they mocked each other in a bid to prove who was a better artist overall.

A durable, long-life robotic transport system will be critical to the daily operations of a sustainable lunar base in the 2030s

As sci-fi concept to build a railway on the moon has inched closer to reality with the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) setting aside funds to bring the concept to life.

The Flexible Levitation on a Track (Float) is one of six projects chosen under NASA’s Innovative Advanced Concepts (NIAC) program and could go on to become new space missions.

The lunar railway could open a new chapter in space missions, allowing astronauts to transport items and material more easily and paving the way for long-term human presence on the moon.

“We want to build the first lunar railway system, which will provide reliable, autonomous, and efficient payload transport on the Moon,” robotics expert Ethan Schaler of NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, California explained.

National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA)

The project was first proposed in 2021 to revolutionize transportation and logistics for lunar missions and a sustainable lunar base by 2030.

“A durable, long-life robotic transport system will be critical to the daily operations of a sustainable lunar base in the 2030s,” Schaler added.

The lunar railway will assist in the transportation of loads in varying shapes up to 110 tons in weight‚ primarily from landing zones to more permanent outpost settings.

NASA’s initial design indicates that FLOAT will have no moving parts to minimize lunar dust.

It consists of magnetic robots levitating over a three-layer film track to reduce abrasion from dust on the lunar surface.

Speed is not of the essence in FLOAT as the carts mounted on these robots will move at roughly 1 mph (1.61 km/h).

NASA plans to build a levitating robot train & railway on the moon [Courtesy]

The robots will be kept afloat by a layer of graphite with a flex-circuit layer generating electromagnetic thrust to controllably propel robots along tracks.

“FLOAT will operate autonomously in the dusty, inhospitable lunar environment with minimal site preparation. FLOAT robots have no moving parts and levitate over the track to minimize lunar dust abrasion/wear, unlike lunar robots with wheels, legs, or tracks,” Schaler added.

The tracks can unroll themselves or be reconfigured over time to match changes on the lunar surface.

“Its network of tracks can be rolled up / reconfigured over time to match evolving lunar base mission requirements,” Schaler noted.

NASA has plans to establish a permanent lunar base for future space exploration and plans to send astronauts back to the moon as early as 2026.

In a distressing turn of events, a Nollywood movie shoot in Badagry, Lagos, Nigeria, took a tragic turn when an actor failed to regain consciousness after filming a scene inside a casket. The incident, which has sent shockwaves through the film industry, has raised serious concerns about on-set safety.

The identity of the actor involved remains unknown at this time, adding to the sombre atmosphere surrounding the incident.

According to sources close to the production, the scene in question required the actor to lie motionless in a casket, dressed in a long white outfit, to portray a deceased character. Initially, the filming of the scene proceeded smoothly, with the crew and cast fully immersed in their respective roles.

However, as the director approached the casket to signal the actor that filming for his character was complete, a sense of unease began to settle in. Despite repeated attempts to wake the actor, he did not respond. Panic quickly spread among the crew as they realized the severity of the situation.

A short exclusive video from the scene captures the abrupt shift in atmosphere as crew members rush to the actor’s side, attempting to revive him. The once bustling film set transformed into a scene of alarm and urgency, with colleagues of the actor expressing shock and disbelief.

Efforts to revive the actor continued as tension mounted on set. An on-set medic was quickly summoned, but despite their best efforts, the actor remained unresponsive. As of now, further details regarding the actor’s condition and the circumstances surrounding the incident have not been disclosed.

In response to the tragedy, the film’s production team has halted all activities, and an investigation is underway to determine the cause of the incident. This unfortunate event has sparked discussions within the Nollywood community about the importance of safety protocols and emergency preparedness on film sets.

The entire industry now waits anxiously for updates on the actor’s condition, hoping for a positive outcome amidst the shadow cast over the Nollywood community by this tragic incident.

Inflation rates have been a persistent challenge for many African countries, adding an extra layer of complexity to their status as developing nations. Dealing with this issue presents a formidable obstacle, impacting various facets of their economies.

However, amid this broader trend, some African countries have managed to buck the trend. Inflation, a key economic metric, holds significant sway over all sectors of society. Across Africa, the recent surge in inflation has tested the stability and progress of the continent’s economies.

This issue was further exacerbated by the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, which brought economic activities to a grinding halt worldwide.

While analysis from economists and financial institutions, indicates that the world is set to undergo an economic resurgence, it hardly takes away the fact that some African countries would struggle to immediately fix the damage brought about by years of enduring growing inflation.

On the other hand, several African governments have effectively managed their inflation rates, while most struggled. They utilized several initiatives to stop inflation from becoming insurmountable for their people.

The top ten of these countries are listed below. The list below is courtesy of a report by the World Bank titled “Addressing Inequality to Revitalize Growth and Alleviate Poverty in Africa.

With that said, here are the 10 African countries with the lowest inflation rate in 2024.

  3. Mali
  4. Burkina Faso

A heart-wrenching account has surfaced in Lusaka, Zambia, where a pregnant mother has come forward to report the distressing disappearance of her anticipated twins at Levy Mwanawasa Hospital.

This incident, which was brought to light on Camnet TV, has left the woman in a state of profound shock and despair.

Throughout her pregnancy, the mother had carried the twins, with regular scans affirming their presence. However, upon arriving at Levy Mwanawasa Hospital for the delivery, medical professionals advised her to undergo a surgical procedure to bring her babies into the world.

Regrettably, upon awakening from the operation, the mother was informed by the hospital staff that her womb was now empty, and there was no trace of the twins.

Understandably overwhelmed by this devastating news, the mother is fervently seeking an explanation from the hospital regarding the whereabouts of her beloved babies.

The disappearance of the twins without any explanation from the hospital staff has ignited a wave of public outrage, prompting many to question how such a horrific incident could occur. Some individuals have accused the medical personnel of potential negligence, while others have expressed concerns about the quality of care provided at the hospital.

In response to this distressing event, the hospital has initiated an investigation into the matter, assuring the public that the medical staff will be held accountable if any wrongdoing is discovered.

Meanwhile, the mother and her family anxiously await answers as they struggle to cope with the loss of their anticipated children.

This heartbreaking narrative underscores the significance of ensuring responsibility within hospitals and medical facilities. It also serves as a poignant reminder of the profound emotional impact that negligence and malpractice can inflict upon patients and their loved ones.

Divorced women possess the potential to be exceptional partners. Having gone through the experience of marriage, they have gained valuable insights into what works and what doesn’t.

However, not every divorced woman has reached a stage where she can move forward, learn from her past, and establish a fulfilling connection with someone new.

It is crucial to identify this readiness early on, so you can pursue a relationship with someone who is prepared for a stable and committed partnership.

While dating a separated woman carries similar risks to dating anyone else, there are a few distinct challenges that come with dating a divorced woman.

It is important to be aware of these challenges and look out for certain signs to determine if the divorced woman you are dating is genuinely prepared to embark on a fresh start and build a healthy relationship.

1. She Talks About Her Ex All the Time

When dating a recently divorced woman, her ex is bound to come up in conversation. However, this topic shouldn’t take up most of your conversations with her.

If she’s still processing her marriage, she may need more time to process it in therapy or on her own before getting into another relationship.

2. She Says Mean Things About Her Ex

It’s OK for someone to vent about negative experiences with an ex, but if she calls her ex nasty names, wishes ill upon them, or otherwise badmouths them, this may be a sign that she has a temper, which she could eventually end up taking out on you. It could also be a sign that she’s in a lot of pain and has more healing to do.

3. There Is a Vast Difference in Life Experience Between You

If she has been married and you’ve never been in a relationship, that’s not an automatic deal breaker, but it could be a sign that you’re in very different places in life.

The same thing goes if there is a significant age difference between you two. There are pros and cons to dating older women—just make sure that the pros outweigh the cons.

4. She Is Still Tied to Her Ex

If children, legal proceedings, or other logistics keep her closely connected with her ex, this could complicate her life as well as yours.

It may be necessary for them to have contact, especially if kids are involved. Still, they should also have established boundaries around their relationship so that you can feel secure that you’re getting involved with her, not her ex.

5. She’s Been Divorced Multiple Times

Half of all marriages end in divorce, so it’s not like being divorced reflects negatively on a person. However, a history of repeated divorces could point toward longstanding relationship issues that will repeat themselves.

The more times someone has been married, the greater the likelihood that their next marriage will also end in divorce. Of course, some subsequent marriages do work out but tread carefully if someone’s been divorced again and again.

6. She’s Still in Love With Her Ex

If she admits to being in love with her ex or talks about her ex in ways that suggest she misses them, she may need more time to grieve before she can get back into dating.

Being married to someone creates an enormous bond, and it’s completely normal to have trouble getting over that.

7. She Compares You to Her Ex

Nobody is going to replace her ex, so you’re going to come up short if she’s trying to compare you to them. She may reveal that she’s doing this by talking about your similarities or differences or asking you to do things for her that her ex used to do.

You shouldn’t have to fill her ex’s shoes. She should appreciate you for who you are as an individual.

8. She and Her Ex Had an On-and-Off Relationship

If two people have a pattern of breaking up and getting back together, they may end up doing so again—yes, even after getting divorced.

Six percent of couples who get divorced end up remarrying each other. This history, combined with continued feelings or ties to her ex, could be a red flag.

9. She’s Healing From Deep Trauma

Somebody who was in an abusive or otherwise deeply traumatic marriage may need time to heal before she can fully trust someone again.

If you’re willing to be with her on that journey and be patient with her, this may be the perfect relationship to help her get back on her feet. But if you want someone to build a life with within a certain time frame, you may be better off going for someone who’s more ready for that.

10. You Can See Your Relationship Ending the Way Her Last One Did

It’s a good idea to find out why the woman you’re dating got divorced so that you can tell if it’s something that could come up in your relationship as well. For instance, maybe she disliked a quality of her ex that you also possess.

It’s better to address that right away than to let the relationship play out like her last one did.

What You Need to Remember

Dating after divorce is difficult, so it’s important to have compassion for any recently divorced women you end up dating. However, you can do this while making the healthiest choices for both of you and being realistic about the relationship’s potential.

There is no shame in someone needing more time or help to get over a divorce, but you deserve somebody who is fully out of their last relationship and can devote their time and attention to you. If it truly is meant to be, the universe will find a way to bring you together again.

For now, if you’re spotting red flags, gently let her know that you think it’s best to go your separate ways and get back out there.
